These filters are specially designed for use in cleanrooms and precision assembly areas.
They come in a wide range of sizes for use in Jowell work stations and many other applications. They can also be used as final filtration filters in applications with purification filters. The filtration medium consists of highly efficient microporous polyurethane minipleats held in place by strong, rigid plastic separators that keep the medium from nesting. This design channels air flow with optimal efficiency to reduce resistance. The filter is sealed into the sturdy aluminum frame with a fire-retardant adhesive.
All HEPA filters are tested for air flow resistance and DOP (dioctylphthalate) smoke penetration (with a mean particle diameter of 0.3 microns) by measuring upstream and downstream concentrations with a laser. They are rated 99.99% efficient with particles 0.3 microns or larger in diameter.
ULPA Filters Available for Class 10 Particle Requirements
Jowell also offers ULPA (Ultra-Low Penetration Air) filters rated 99.999% efficient with particles 0.12 microns or larger in diameter. These filters are available in standard sizes for Jowell work stations; other sizes can be custom ordered.
